Reflection

In this paragraph I will talk about my progression of writing that I have had through my UNIV 150 class. Throughout the semester I felt like I have improved on my writing and editing skills a lot. I started this semester very scared of my writing skills for college, but as I have progressed in this class I have learn what I have been doing over the years and I am starting to get better at avoiding those mistakes. This course has helped a lot from the little this like grammatical mistakes to bigger things like comma splices and fragments. As the semester started I was very self-conscious about my writing. I did not have really and confidents in it and I felt like it was going to give me so much trouble through college. But as we progressed in the class I started to get more and more confident in my writing potential. Now I have a good amount of trust in my writing, thanks to this class. I seem to know where to put most commas and I am able to fix most sentence fragments that use to give me trouble. Also I have improved on my sentence structure all together. I seem to write sentence that are much stronger and clearer then they use to be. Also what was a big help was having the tutoring sessions that I could go to and get help if I was having trouble with an essay, which I feel if I was in the higher English class I would not have gotten the chance to get that help. I am very glad that I was able to take this class and get the help from this class and the tutoring sessions. It was great experience and help and I would suggest any incoming freshman that thinks they might not be the greatest at English to take this class as it really does help.
